Divorce care
Upholding and strengthening marriage is important at our Church. Being in a broken world marriage strife occurs and sadly may lead to separation or divorce. Across the year, Maitland Evangelical Church runs a 13 week support group for people who are separated or divorced called Divorce Care. This is a church-based support group program which seeks to show hope and healing through our Lord Jesus and the Bible. Divorce Care does not encourage separation or divorce, but rather seeks reconciliation where possible.
Anyone in the Maitland and surrounding areas, whether with a church background or not, will be welcome. Divorce Care is run by a small group of trained volunteers. We ask your prayer for people to participate and our volunteers as we prepare. For enquiries please speak to Steve Doust, Michael Kolos or Meg Kolos.
