To see young people meet Jesus and grow as wholehearted disciples of him.
We meet every Friday night of the school term for youth in school years 7-12 (or equivalent)
Each week we meet together to hear a talk from God’s word, chat about it, grow in love for each other as a community and have some fun.
All our volunteers have completed Safe Ministry training and have a current Working With Children Check. Read on Child Safety at MEC.

GATHERED | We are meeting face to face and would love to see you on a Friday during the school term. We currently meet at Living Hope, 1 Garnett Rd, East Maitland.
Everyone is welcome to join us. We are doing our series on David this term.

Toby Burgess started running our Youth Group in 2026 as part of his MTS Traineeship.
The Vine
Discipleship groups
Vine Groups are a space for youth to go deeper in God’s Word and prayer, growing together in community.
Both groups meet during the school term at Living Hope Church, near Greenhills Shopping Centre.
Junior Vine (Years 7–9)
Sundays during the 4:00pm Service
Junior Vine youth begin in the church service and then head out after the sermon into smaller discussion groups. Together they explore the Bible, discuss the sermon, pray, and spend time together.
Senior Vine (Years 10–12)
Sundays at 3:00pm
Senior Vine meets before church to dig deeper into God’s Word, discuss the Bible passage being preached that week, pray together, and encourage one another.

This is our big invite night! If you’ve got a friend who’s curious about youth group, this is a great night to bring them along. But don’t worry—you’re always welcome to invite friends any week!
3rd July – Community Night
Community night will be an evening of fellowship and fun together to grow relationships and celebrate the term.
